Dear Veteran Bhupal Singh,
Difference of pension between pre 2006 Majors and Lt Cols has all along been in the minds of those organizations and individuals who have been fighting for OROP. It is understood that matter has been taken up at Highest level in Services Headquarters with RM. As per my information , a pension of Rs22135/- has been recommended for Majors.

    If this happens,God knows when, then this huge gap between majors and lt.cols will be bridged somewhat, which has been created by 6th CPC.
