Indeed, it is a sad commentary on the cussedness of MOD/CGDA but may be a fortuitous occurrence for the Veterans, specially for those of us who retired or left the service prior to 1986. I suppose the SC will issue notices to RDOA/Kerala Ex-Servicemen's Association and all the others who had been impleaded earlier.

Please request RDOA and the Kerala Ex-Servicemen's Association and others, to include a plea regarding the grant of pensionary benefits, based on the Rank Pay, separated from the Basic Pay/Pay Scale, as recommended by the IV PAY COMMISSION and considered for the calculation of Pension/gratuity, etc, as admissible, in respect of Pre-1986 retirees also and ofcourse with interest. This was not clear from the earlier judgement of March 2010. The RDOA and the Kerala Ex-Servicemen's Association, will be doing a great service to the Pre-1986 Pensioners, for which we will be eternally grateful. Many thanks. I am, in fact all Pre-1986 retirees, should be ready to help, to the extent possible.

Dear Col BK Sharma
1. The judgement has far reaching consequences. The Pay and Allowances and pension 4tha and 5th Pay Commission would have to be worked out afresh. The Govt has no grounds to make prayer to recall the judgement. We must fight this tooth and nail to defeat the unjustified designs of the Govt. Why are they heaping injustices upon the soldiers is a matter of great concern to the whole Nation.
2. Let us give it widest of publicity to tell the people of India our grave concerns and the Govts negative attitude.
With Kind Regards,

Jai Hind
Yours Sincerely,
