Dear Friends,
Jai Hind.
An email received from Maj Gen SG Vombatkere, is reproduced below. The attachments received along with his email are attached to this email.
On behalf of YOU ALL, 'i' thank Maj Gen SG Vombatkere for sending this email to us.
Today, when things have started moving in favour of ESM, every one wants to take credit for this forward movement.
What were these 'movers' doing for last five decades? Why did not their type succeed in last five decades?
No doubt that efforts by all ESM organisations and individual ESM, including efforts by Former Chiefs and other senior ESM has brought about this change in favour of ESM - but what was that single most effective factor which has helped us all move forward?
While I would not give entire credit for this success of ESM movement to IESM, the fact remains that it is IESM which made the media, the public, the politicians, the power corridors, and above all the ESM themselves, aware of the 'ESM Power'.
Even the Serving Chiefs have admitted that the IESM movement has tremendously helped them to utilise full power of their representations to the Government.
I now request all the "Email Warriors", including some IESM State Conveners, who have been virtually thrashing the IESM leaders since 12 Apr 09, when the voting advisory was issued, to give a respite to the leaders of IESM and praise them whole heartedly for what they have done for you - what they have done for the entire ESM community.
It is a pity that some of the "Email Warriors" have been using foul language. Some ESM advised me that I should not circulate emails with such foul language, but I continue to do so to expose the caliber of these 'great thinking' ESM and hoping that some of you will help in educating such ESM. Cdr Pran Parashar and Cdr KK Punchhi did tell one of the ESM, who used foul language for IESM, as to what the ESM community feels about 'foul language people'.
IT IS TIME THAT WE ALL ESM STAND SHOULDER TO SHOULDER.
STOP THE "EMAIL WAR" AND ACCUSING EACH OTHER.
IT IS NOW OR NEVER.
KEEP BUILDING UP THE PRESSURE ON POWER CORRIDORS
AND COMPEL THEM TO GRANT JUSTICE TO DEFENCE SERVICES.
HONGE KAMYAB HUM EK DIN
